Restaurant Raman in Reinbek

The quality of the dishes used to be much better than they are now. A few days ago I ordered chicken curry to take away, but the curry was extremely watery and tasted more like water with spices. Unfortunately, I have to look for a new Indian because, as I said, the quality has deteriorated extremely.

The star refers to the service, not the food. The waiter was extremely unfriendly, the debit card machine supposedly broken and worst of all was that no lists were kept. Irresponsible in times of Corona. The food was good.

We have been here several times and the food is really very good overall, but it's amazing to see how much a meal together is shaped by how the service works. Up until now, we always had a certain woman as the waitress, who is friendly, attentive and just does a good job. Instead, yesterday a man was waiting in the restaurant. The overall appearance was quite rude. I'll give you a few examples, but I could write more. When we placed the order, one of us didn't give the food number, but the name of the dish. A service staff shouldn't be overwhelmed by that. Instead, the person was scolded and actually had to flip through the card to find the number. One person had ordered a soup as a starter. But the soup was not delivered. When asked, the waitress said he was of the opinion that the soup should be brought as a main course (i.e. later). But none of us had said that. And I would expect the wait staff to clarify on their own in case of doubt whether it is intended as a starter or main course. When ordering more drinks during the meal, the employee was quite grumpy and unmotivated. Nor did he come to the table once to ask if anyone else would like something to drink. When we asked at the end of the evening to get the menu again (for dessert) he actually brought us a single card to check whether there were seven people at the table. When we wanted to pay, the bill should be split a bit. According to the motto: three people pay for their own food and the rest is paid for by a fourth person (including all drinks). That's not that complicated either. But it turns out to be difficult, and here too the employee was quite unfriendly.

We ordered around 9:40 a.m. and specified 12:15 as the desired delivery time. After about 20 minutes we called where the food was, they said it would be there soon. We waited another 20 minutes and called again, we got the same answer, takes another 5 minutes. All in all, the food came an hour later at 1:15 p.m. !!!! The food was OK, it would certainly have tasted better warm. Instead of an apology or a discount, the food was simply put down and the driver drove away again. I think that's cheeky, even if you pay with PayPal you should at least accommodate the customer or give the driver a free drink or something similar. We definitely don't order a second time !!!

One of our favorite restaurants. The food always tastes good, no matter what you choose! - It's appetizingly presented and the portions are plentiful. Lunch is offered and a delivery service. The decor is a matter of taste, however not uncomfortable! The service, however, is excellent.

We ordered via Lieferando at the place "Bombay Spice" which seems to be this restaurant. Pakora, sauces and tandoor paneer were incredibly good. Also after repeated orders constantly good quality, fast delivery and overall a very good experience.

One and a half hours late, left on the floor in front of the door. without apology or comment ... Food almost cold and not at all tasty .. even the lassies were bad ... !!

Visited this restaurant today. We waited 20 minutes for the service to order drinks and food, the service staff looked often but did not come to our table. After 20 minutes we drove to the other Indian restaurant and were warmly welcomed and served!

We often ordered food here and were always very satisfied.

The food was an absolute dream of Indian cuisine! Perfectly seasoned, large enough portions and really delicious to feast on. The naan bread and the mango lassi were really good, we rarely had better Indian food from the delivery service :) There is a big minus for the delivery time and customer service ... The small order of two dishes to Bergedorf (ordered via Lieferando) took 85 minutes on a Wednesday evening instead of the specified 40 minutes. After over an hour I called the number given and was put off, the driver had been on the road for 10 minutes and would deliver several orders ... it took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. If the delivery time is reliable in the future, we will definitely order more often, we are excited

It tasted very good, nice atmosphere, but EC card payment is not possible, which was unfortunately only communicated to us after the meal. So quickly after the meal to the bank again.

Food is really good. Family loved the food. Service and portions could be better but the food quality and taste made up for it. I am Indian FYI.

Love this place!

Nice little restaurant. The decor takes some getting used to. "Indian with modern influences", but trashy / cheesy. But the food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Dogs are allowed in, which is a plus for me personally.

I called the restaurant, they told me that the delivery would take about 50 minutes and I should better order online - I did that 4 to 5 minutes later. I was looking forward to the food - but unfortunately it never happened: The restaurant canceled the order, as I later learned. Supposedly I had taken too long to order, the driver had just gone. In turn, the cancellation confirmation mail stated that the restaurant had closed unscheduled earlier. Conclusion: Rarely felt like this. And another side nuisance: The money needs a few days until it is booked back.

Great vegetarian selection. Very nice service and excellent chef. The vegetables were really cooked to the point, the whole thing not too bombarded with spices that you could still enjoy the individual notes. Really good. Ambiance was nice too, music a bit too loud. Three points deduction because they take just tip without prior request from the change. I absolutely do not think so. Sometimes I leave a lot, other times I do not. It does not give them the right to tip with my money.

Unfriendly welcome and food mediocre and pricey. Not worth a visit.

OK food, not the best, but edible...

As always a great meal and in the new outfit of the restaurant the Indian food tastes so good again. We had a superb mixed appetizer plate and delicious entrees afterwards. A small tip to the owner, who is extremely lovable: if he would often ask if husband / wife would like to drink something, he would make more sales. Nevertheless, as always a successful evening. We will definitely be back.
